Election Information

The Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Please remember the following important tips:

  • In order to vote, you must register at least 30 days prior to the election. For the 2008 General Election, you must register by Monday, October 6, 2008.
  • You will need to bring a photo ID to the polling location.
  • If you are in line to vote at your polling location by 8:00 p.m. on election day, you must be allowed to vote.

Absentee Ballots

Click here to obtain an Absent Voter Ballot Request Form. You'll need to complete and mail this form to your city or township clerk. You can find the address to mail your form here. Your clerk must receive this form by Saturday, November 1, 2008 in order for you to obtain an absentee ballot.
